Shaun Hands
Shaun holds Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting and has been working across wide-scale industries since Late 2017. Shaun specialises in not only Structural Steel Design and Detailing but is Greg’s, right-hand man.
Shaun has this profound ability to work well with our team and lead projects. Not only does Shaun have all the proven training, certificates and skills but also has a strong record of practical skills in Project Management, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor and recently Trimble Realworks & Fieldlink for Laser Cloud Scans and Cloud Processing.
When asked, What does being a structural draftsman at PLDraft mean? Shaun responded “Being a structural draftsman is a complex but rewarding job. We are able to be a part of a large group of trades to bring projects to life both in our local area and also across Australia. The key aspect of our role is bridging the Envisioned architectural design, Structural engineering requirements, Site Conditions, Steel Fabricator and Builders’ Requests all while pre-emptively looking for clashes or design flaws that we are able to coordinate and fix prior to the arising.”
